Saturday is the day

that BASEBALL TRYOUTS will be blessing our city park!

Im not sure if my son is as nervous/excited as

I am but I cant wait for baseball season.

Only 4 of the 6 are playing this year but only 

my 9 year old, Derek will have to tryout.

Monday after work I immediatly changed out

of my skirt & into my sweats so that I could

take Derek to the park to catch a few balls.

Unfortunatly for him I have NO athletic ability

whatsoever.

(Any pointer's would be appreciated and probably used.)

This is his 1st year in the "majors" which means

other kids will be pitching instead of coaches.

Normally he is a good hitter but Im afraid

this might make a huge difference, plus he

is in a "draft" so he will have a different

coach which saddens me!    Kennedy & Koby will once again be lulling us to sleep with numerous

 t-ball games this summer also. They are both on the "scrapper's" this year & it is hard to sit through an hour of t-ball except when one of them makes us laugh.  But I wouldnt trade it for the world and I cant believe that next summer for the 1st time since 1997 I wont have anyone playing T-ball!!   SO.....Say a prayer for my little slugger Derek for Saturday afternoon.  From 1:00-3:00 in the 35 degree weather we will be hitting, catching,pitching, & running bases with a large audience! (when I say we....I mean Derek will be doing the physical part & I will be doing the STRESSED part)
